We depart to Priene, our first stop, which was one of the most active ports of the Ionian Federation. The city is the oldest example of geometric city planning and the columns of the Temple of Zeus will surely attract your curiosity for its games of perspective. Thereafter we continue to Miletos where was the source of the alphabet that would be used in the classical world and develop to our current alphabet.. Miletos was a great port town and the hometown of several philosophers and sages. Our last stop will be in Didyma to visit the Temple of Apollo with its very well-known oracles. The temple in Didyma is the third biggest temple dedicated to Apollo. Although looted and burnt many times, the building kept its original impression.
